      The cover-title is "The Saint Mungo Bazaar cookery book'. Printed on the title-page is ""Yes, dine by all means, and be sure you dine wisely." # Sir Walter Scott.' In the editor's note, dated May 1904, Miss Lambie says that "the primary aim of this book is to make money...'; however, she doesn't specify the cause, most likely the church funds. Unusual for a cookery book of the fund-raising type, the preface is written by an eminent cook, Charles Herman Senn.
      The LCS copy was donated to the library by LCF. The front face of the paper binding was inadvertently left behind at LCF and still remains there!
