The entry for Miss Edith Sorby on page 97 of EpicureDir 1899 describes her as a teacher of domestic economy with a Full First-Class Diploma, 13 February 1891, National Union Sheffield. Her position is recorded as Teacher for Oxford City Technical School; her address, 4 Peel Terrace, Wilkinson Street, Sheffield. In EpicureDir 1909 her post is now Head of Science Department, Oxford City Technical School. Her address remains the same.
