In a footnote on page 93 of "Fifty years of food reform: a history of the vegetarian movement in England" (London: The Ideal Publishing Union Ltd; Manchester: The Vegetarian Society, 1898) the author, Charles Walter Forward, identifies Domestica as Miss Baker and gives the date of her death. She was the daughter of Thomas Baker, an active member of The Vegetarian Society.
