      The title-page is printed in red and green. The preface is signed "Edith Bradley. Providence House, Bredons Norton, Nr. Tewkesbury, Lady Day, 1907.' It states that a series of papers by Miss May Crooke in "Farm and garden', 1905, form the basis of the book.
      The LB copy has five unnumbered pages of adertisements following page 99. The second of these pages gives the price of the book as 2s 6d.

      The title-page is printed in red and green. Printed on the verso of the title-page is "Second edition'.% General comments: Bitting 54 cites an edition of 1906 which I believe to be a typographical error. Axford 38 repeats the error.
