Her address in the 1899 directory is 105 Gough Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham. EpicureDir 1909 gives her full name and cites her address as 33 Stirling Road, Edgbaston. @As well as "King Edward's cookery book' and "Vegetarian cookery', Miss George wrote "Economical dishes for wartime', Birmingham: Cornish Brothers Ltd, 1916, and "Supplement to economical dishes for wartime', Birmingham: Cornish Brothers Ltd, 1917. "A manual of cookery', London: Edward Arnold, 1921, was completed after the author's death by Miss Kate Lackland.% 1113

In the preface, which is signed "E. F. 1949', Fordham says that she "found very little to alter in the recipes themselves'.
      The LCF copy retains the original dust-jacket citing the price of 8s 6d.% General comments: NIC(HA) holds an undated edition of "King Edward's cookery book' but does not specify the impression.% 1122
