      The preliminary chapters include "North Sea fishing industry', "Deep sea fishing', "The trawl', "The drift-net', "Fish as an article of diet', "Utensils', "Calendar of fish in season", "How to select fish", "Modes of cooking fish' and "The carving and serving of fish'. These are followed by chapters on individual types of fish # each headed by an illustration of the fish # and chapters on crustacea. The text ends with sections on "Fish sauces', "Forcemeats, etc', "Herbs and seasonings' and "Sundry and appetizing dishes'. LB, LoEN and OB date the book [1911].

      Pages 49-63 form a separate section with its own title-page on page 49: "How to cook in paper bags or the art of "Little-Mary" gas cooking. By Mrs N. Moser.' This part of the book advocates the use of "Little-Mary' gas cooking paper bags.
      "How to cook beef, veal and mutton' is not cited in EngCat, but it was probably published about 1911-1914 since "From sea to table' and "The good wife's cook book' which are cited on the title-page were both published in 1911 and the book's appearance indicates a publication date within the period covered by this bibliography. (Of the two other titles cited on the title-page, "Household gas cookery' was issued in 1908 and "How to make and bake bread, buns, biscuits and cakes' is a book I have not been able to locate nor date.)
