HARDY, Edward John   1849-1920

E.J. Hardy was a clergyman and author of several books on social ethics, including "How to be happy though civil: a book on manners', published in 1909. Only one of his works is included here, the others being less concerned with the rules of etiquette and details of behaviour than with moral distinctions.
