WEAVER, Sir Lawrence   1876-1930

Sir Lawrence Weaver ecited the periodical "Country Life' between 1910 and 1916. He was director-general of the Ministry of Agriculture land department and founded the National Institute of Agricultural Botany. He received his knighthood in 1920.
