WEBSTER, Augusta   1837-1894

Augusta Webster was a journalist, translator and poet. She published a novel and some collections of poetry under the pseudonym "Cecil Home'. Her works include "Dramatic studies', 1866 "Portraits', 1870, "Disguises', 1879, and translations of "Prometheus Bound' and "Medea'. She was a member of the London School Board from 1879 to 1882.
