      1. No copy of this vegetarian work in its original form has been located. As the 2nd ed. 'with considerable additions' is a fairly small book, the 1st ed. was probably a pamphlet or tract.
      2. Scots Mag., vol. 29 (Feb. 1767), pp. 91-2, confirms that the price was 1 sh.
