      1. In the Ist ed. (1695), the author published his work under the initials 'J. H.'; in the 2nd ed. (1696), he disclosed his true identity; and in this edition he also called himself a 'Professor of Physick', although he was known to be a quack doctor.       2. The LeU(B) copy is inscribed: 'John Weston of Balliol College', and 'John Tucker Nov 2nd 1745'.
      3. Lond.Mag. (Sept. 1734), p. 500, confirms that the price of the 4th ed. of 1734 was 6 sh.
