BERTRAM, James Glass
The writer of the preface to "Fish and fowl for the table" which was published by Sawers Ltd in 1910 identifies Jenny Wren as a pseudonym for the "late' James Glass Bertram. According to the preface he wrote "Our table fishes', also published by Sawers Ltd; however, I have been unable to trace a copy of this work. OB incorrectly attributes Jenny Wren's cookery books to Jane Atkinson who wrote on other topics under the same pseudonym.% @All the books described below, except "Modern domestic cookery", belong to "The "Jenny Wren" series of cookery manuals'.
