DAVIES, Frederick

Frederick Davies was co-author with Seymour Davies of "Drinks of all kinds: hot and cold for all seasons'. Only about ten pages of this book are devoted to temperance drinks; most recipes are for alchoholic beverages. It was first published in London by John Hogg in an undated edition of 148 pages in 1896 (copy in OB; DLC dates its copy [1895]). Another undated edition, also published by John Hogg but this time having 151 pages, appeared in 1912 (copy in OB). MCe has an undated, 151-page edition, London, Bath, Melbourne and New York: Sir Isaac Pitman and Sons Ltd, nd [1920]. OPo(F) has an edition, London, Bath, Melbourne, Toronto and New York: Sir Isaac Pitman and Sons Ltd, 1929.
