EpicureDir 1899 lists this author on page 61 as "Miss' Hester Davies. As well as writing the books described below, she compiled "W. and A. K. Johnston's cooking diagrams', a set of six striking, colour lithographs held by LB and dated [1900] by the library. LB also has a copy of the 1932 re-issue of the first plate.% 0726
