EpicureDir 1899 cites Miss Mabel A. Rotheram as a teacher of cookery with a First-Class Diploma from the National Training School, No. 393, 21 January 1891. Her position is given as Superintendent and Instructress, Bedfordshire County Council Schools at Bedford and Luton; her address, 37 Rothesay Road, Luton. @EpicureDir 1909 records Miss Rotheram as receiving a First in Cookery from the National Training School in 1901. In 1909 she is still described as a teacher for the Bedfordshire County Council but her address is changed to 63 Harpur Street, Bedford.
