Sanders wrote many gardening books. His "Salads and their cultivation", [1911], from the same series as "Mushrooms and their cultivation" described below, includes six pages of recipes.

      BMCat catalogues this title as part of the series, ""Profitable farm and garden" handbooks", [1903-1910]. The foreword is dated 1909. OB dates the book [1909]; LoEN dates it [1910].
      Chapters I-XII, pages 9-51, are on the growing of mushrooms. Chapter XIII, pages 52-60, called "Cooking mushrooms", contains recipes. Chapter XIV, pages 61-74, entitled "Edible fungi", consists of entries for the different types telling how to identify them and giving information on flavour and cooking.
