      A publisher's advertisement for Olive Green's "Putnam's homemaker series' suggests that this edition precedes the 1932 edition. It cites the first ten numbers in the series but does not give reviews for Nos. 8, 9 and 10 which were first published in 1909, 1911 and 1911 respectively. It does not cite No. 11, "The Myrtle Reed cook book', published in 1916.% 2244a
