Chapters I-XII, pages 9-51, are on the growing of mushrooms. Chapter XIII, pages 52-60, called "Cooking mushrooms", contains recipes. Chapter XIV, pages 61-74, entitled "Edible fungi", consists of entries for the different types telling how to identify them and giving information on flavour and cooking.
