The cover-title reads, "Domestic and economical recipes. "Richmond" cookery book...". In the preface, which is dated Exeter, 7 February 1898, and on a small paper insert preceding the preface, the author acknowledges that many of the 133 numbered recipes are from the 2s edition of Miss Lillie Richmond's "The "Richmond" cookery book" with the permission of Miss Richmond and Richmond and Co Ltd.
