This is a new and different work from the book catalogued above despite the identical title. Here the text is organised into chapters, each devoted to a single type of dish or ingredient, rather than lectures covering a variety of topics. Moreover, the author makes it clear that she wrote two separate books when she states in the introduction on page 6, "As my first cookery book met with such approval, and as the copies are now exhausted, at the request of a large number of friends I beg to place this second book on the market." An advertisement citing the "Lancet" of 30 April 1898 indicates that the book was published about that date.
The title-page is on page 5 and is preceded by advertisements. Pages 93-95 make up the table of contents.
