This undated edition has the same title-page quotation as the 1896 edition. Evidence that this edition was published later than 1896 comes from advertisements on the book's binding for Hildagonda J. Duckitt's "Hilda's diary of a Cape housekeeper', second thousand, and "Hilda's "Where is it'" of recipes', fourteenth thousand, both of which were issued in 1902.
NUCat lists a copy dated [1902] at ICJ which appears from the entry to be the same as that catalogued here.% 0132
