"Les 366 menus du Baron Brisse. E2dition nouvelle des 365 menus..." (Bitting 61, Vicaire 122) was published in Paris by E. Donnaud in 1868 and went through several editions. The translator, who signs herself Mrs Edith Matthew Clark, explains that she first translated the book for her cook, then allowed her version to be published to satisfy her friends' requests for the recipes in English.
