    The "Preface to British edition' on page 3 states that "the wonderful popularity of this cookery book in New Zealand and Australia' has induced the publishers to issue a British edition. The book's Australasian origin is evident in such recipes as "Passion fruit jelly'. The antipodean edition, also published by Whitcombe and Tombs Ltd, is entitled "Colonial everyday cookery'. WYoLU(B), ICJ and NN all date the 75th thousand of "British everyday cookery' [1910].
    Bitting 523 records only one plate. The WYoLU(B) copy has four plates.
