    Printed above the title on the title-page is "Queen: # "Sure to find its way to any kitchen ruled by a cook worthy of the name.^"' Pages 433-505 are a "Second supplement to "The table^"' which includes recipes 1,395 to 1,550 and a separate index. When examining the bookseller's copy it is likely that I missed counting an illustration of how to set a table on page 19.

    There is no title-page quotation as in the preceding 505-page edition.% General comments: I have not determined the order of publication of the first four cited editions; however, all must have appeared within a year since the revised edition of 505 pages was published in 1890 according to BMCat.% American editions: These are all entitled "The table'. NUCat lists the following editions: New York: C. L. Webster and Co, 1889; New York: C. L. Webster and Co, 1890 [copyright 1889]; New York: C. L. Webster and Co, 1891 [copyright 1889]; and New York: The Baker and Taylor Co, [copyright 1895]. WYoLU(B) holds a revised edition, with supplements, New York: Charles L. Webster and Co, [copyright 1889]. Bitting 157 cites a second edition in 1889 and an edition of 1906.
