The BMCat lists "The domestic receipt book, containing upwards of 700 authenticated recipes, chiefly on domestic economy, etc.' as published Todmorden and Salford: 1832. The preface to the second edition (see following entry) states that more than three thousand copies of the first edition were sold in the space of a few months.
The domestic receipt book, in two parts, containing 866 authenticated recipes, chiefly on domestic economy; particularly adapted to family establishments, and calculated to promote a considerable saving in household expenditure. By Joseph Worrall. Second edition.

There are two prefaces, one to the first edition dated April 1832 and one to the second edition dated October 1832. The contents are in two parts, each with a separate index. The first contains household receipts, including brewing but not cookery. The second contains medical receipts, and there is also a section of additional and miscellaneous receipts.
