    The LCF copy is signed in black ink on the recto of the blank leaf preceding the title-page "A1 Monsieur Alfred Suzanne avec tous mes compliments Felix A. Deliee'. The middle initial is clearly "A' and not "J' as printed on the title-page.% 0749

    The copyright date of 1884 is on the verso of the title-page. DLC dates its copy [1902']. Bitting 120 describes a seventh edition dated 1884 without brackets. Axford 170 lists a seventh edition dated 1902 without brackets. It seems likely that both the Bitting and Axford entries refer to the DLC copy.% 0753a
