    "Aristology or the art of dining" first appeared in "The original", a weekly periodical started by Walker in May 1835 and which ran until December 1835 for a total of twenty-nine numbers.
    LG identifies Felix Summerly as a pseudonym for Sir Henry Cole.
    There were twentieth-century editions. LB, LoEN and OB hold "The art of attaining high health. Together with Aristology, or the art of dining.", Pilgrim's Books No. 5, London: 1921; and "The art of dining... With an introduction by Filson Young and decorations by J. M. Dixon", London: Grant Richards and Philip Saintsbury at the Cayme Press Ltd, 1928, Bitting 482. OB has an edition with drawings by L. Lamb, Cambridge: 1965.
